Thursday 15 August - Woking (Captain's Day)
Woking
Warm sunshine and a course in excellent condition greeted 40 Members and guests taking part in Jon's Captains Day.

A big thank you to Jon for providing a multitude of prizes and for ensuring his day went smoothly. Also to the Officer of the Day Kim Harris, our President, and to Patron Dave and Vice President John for marking the cards and their overall contribution.

Winner of the Douglas Wilson Salver and continuing his rich vein of form was Brian Mitchinson with 38 points with runner up Kim Harris on 37 points. Team winners on a great score of 88 points were the Harris Family, father Kim and son Richard, with support from Ian Watt.

The Peter Worne Scratch Trophy was won by Kim Harris with a gross 78, just pipping the previous holder,Steve Shiebert by one stroke. It was good to see new member Rik Rankin coming third with 81 gross. Well done to all who participated .
